Humane Colorado offers programs to support pet owners in our community with preventative care and other veterinary needs. These resources are designed to help reduce the cost of veterinary care, provide animal care clinics, and keep pets with their people.

Our veterinary hospital services provide high-quality, low-cost veterinary care to your pet when they need it most.

Pet Urgent Care

We offer urgent care services for owned cats and dogs by appointment. We can perform many emergency procedures, but we are not equipped to manage critical cases or overnight hospitalizations.

Surgery

We offer a variety of surgical services for owned cats and dogs, ranging from routine spay and neuter procedures to complex, soft-tissue, and non-critical emergency surgeries.

Dentistry

Our dental services include a Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment (COHAT). Whether your pet is receiving a prophylactic cleaning or in need of advanced dentistry with surgical extractions, our skilled veterinarians will perform a thorough oral exam in addition to full mouth radiographs under general anesthesia, providing a complete picture of your pet’s oral health.

End of Life Services

We approach end of life care with compassion for both you and your pet, offering pet euthanasia service at the Leslie A. Malone Center, Buddy Center, and Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur.

Payment is expected on the day services are provided. We accept all major credit cards, cash. The Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur also accepts flexible payment options including Cherry, CareCredit, Scratch Pay, and Varidi. *

Humane Colorado is steadfast in our mission to ensure all pets have access to high-quality medical care, and we welcome referrals from other veterinarians in our community. We appreciate notice prior to transfer to ensure that your referral is within our scope of care.

Please note: While we manage a wide range of cases, we do not staff veterinary specialists or manage chronic diseases such as diabetes. We also do not perform fracture repair or hospitalize critical care patients.
