Our goal is to find a loving home for every healthy and safe animal that enters our care. If you decide to rehome your pet with Humane Colorado, we will take the time to learn as much as we can about the pet’s experience in your home and with other animals. We will also ask questions regarding your animal’s medical history.
We recommend scheduling an appointment before surrendering a pet so our team can support you as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

While we are a safe haven to animals from all walks of life, there are some species of wildlife and exotic pets we are not able to place because a shelter is not an ideal environment.
