Adopt Louie

Louie is a lover and sniffer extraordinaire! Being a hound, sniffing is definitely his favorite activity. In fact, he gets so focused on his scent trails that he doesn’t even chase squirrels. One dog walker says Louie is just perfection—wonderful to walk, gentle, affectionate, very playful, yet calm and mellow with other dogs (and even with a squirrel that was taunting him!). Another walker can easily imagine Louie sitting on the patio at a beer fest, calmly observing everything going on around him. While Louie is laid back, when it comes to playtime, he’s got lots of energy! He’s curious about everything; for instance, he loves hanging out on top of the agility ramp in our play yard! He’s also a total gentleman on the stairs, politely stopping at each landing to wait for his walker to catch up and pausing to get pets from everyone he passes. Louie is looking for an affectionate home that leans to the active side and enjoys the fun, goofy side of his loving personality. Louie will do great with kiddos age 6 or older to play and snuggle with. He’s also happy to live with any other pets, and accept the many tasty treats that come his way. Come visit the handsome, super lovable Louie and make him yours!
