About Scarlette
Scarlette is a girl who likes to take the time to get to know someone before letting them into her inner circle. Initially shy and unsure, she’s shown that she can enjoy human companionship once she feels comfortable, but she’s also a lady who knows her boundaries! Scarlette can become overstimulated with too much petting or handling, so she’ll need an adopter who is patient, attentive to her body language, and respectful of her cues. She’ll benefit from interactive play, enrichment, and a home where she can settle in at her own pace. She’s also lived successfully with other cats, so feline companionship may be a possibility. A home with teens ages 14 and up is best. Our behavior team will meet with potential adopters before visits to help set Scarlette up for a successful transition. She’s looking for someone who understands that the best relationships are built on trust, patience, and a little personal space!
Adoption Fee: $50
