Adopt Haaland

$250
If you’re looking for a sweet senior gentleman to pamper and adore, Haaland might just be your perfect match! This adorable older guy loves being groomed, fussed over, and showered with affection. He has a kind, gentle nature that would make him a wonderful companion for a family looking for a special horse to love, including one with children.

Although Haaland is retired from riding, he still enjoys keeping his mind busy! He has enjoyed some light, positive reinforcement-based groundwork and enrichment, including learning to play the piano through target training! He’s proof that you don’t need to ride a horse to have fun, build a relationship, and keep learning together.

Haaland is looking for a loving home where he can enjoy his golden years, receive plenty of scratches and grooming sessions, and continue exploring fun, low-impact enrichment activities at his own pace.

He does have a few special care needs to keep him comfortable. He requires front shoes with pads to support his comfort and takes daily Prascend to manage PPID (equine Cushing’s disease).

If you have room in your heart for a precious senior who deserves to be spoiled rotten, Haaland would love to meet you!
