Join us on our mission

Working with our compassionate community, we will end pet homelessness and animal suffering.

For 115 years, Humane Colorado, formerly the Dumb Friends League, has been there to build bonds between pets and the people who love them.

Every animal’s journey through Humane Colorado is filled with compassion and care, thanks to your support.

The costs for animal care are rising. On average, Humane Colorado invests over $800 in one pet’s shelter journey for a lifetime of love in their ideal home.

With over 40,000 animals served by Humane Colorado and our various programs every year, vulnerable animals need your help now more than ever.

We are Humane Colorado

From the Dumb Friends League to Humane Colorado – learn about our legacy of compassion.

With $0.82 of every dollar donated going directly to animal care, your donation – big or small – can help our most vulnerable animals on their journey from here to home.
