Family-friendly fall festival will feature live music, food, vendors and activities in support of animals in need Denver, Colo. (August 26, 2026) – Humane Colorado is inviting animal lovers, families, foodies, and festivalgoers to come together for the organization’s first-ever Whisker Fest, a lively outdoor fall festival celebrating community, compassion, and the animals who need us most. Taking place on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Humane Colorado’s Leslie A. Malone Center in Denver, Whisker Fest will feature live music, delicious food and beverages, vendors, shelter tours, games, and family-friendly activities in the Kid Zone – all in support of animals in need. “Whisker Fest is about bringing people together for a joyful day of music, food, and fun while making a meaningful difference for animals across our community,” said Katie Parker, President and CEO at Humane Colorado. “We are thrilled to welcome guests to our Leslie A. Malone Center for this inaugural event and share more about the life-saving work made possible by our supporters.” Guests can enjoy performances by High Lonesome, Velvet Daydream, 90s Addiction, and Animal Farm, along with festival games like Cornhole, Giant Connect Four, Ring Toss, Ladder Golf, and a Bounce House. Shelter tours will offer attendees a behind-the-scenes look at Humane Colorado’s work, and guests may even meet adoptable pets looking for homes. Ticket options include the Whisker Pass, Whisker Bites & Brews, and VIP Very Important Paws packages, with adult and child pricing available. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase on-site. The first 100 ticket purchasers will receive a commemorative Whisker Fest beer stein.
