Thank you for trusting Humane Colorado with your pet’s preventative and urgent care needs. Our donor-subsidized community veterinary services uses EZyVet to schedule appointments. You can also use the Humane Colorado patient portal to review medical records and make an online payment.

This guide is to help you navigate the patient portal, find the services you need, and schedule appointments to keep your pet happy and healthy, including:

How to Schedule an Appointment
How to Access Medical Records
How to Make an Online Payment

Or continue reading for step-by-step instructions on creating your account.

You can access the patient portal here.
If this is an emergency, please call us at 303.722.5800.

Step One: Create an Account

We will ask for your name, your pet’s name, and basic information to populate your Dashboard. Your Dashboard will help you navigate your appointments, your pet’s medical records, and any unpaid invoices.

You can add additional pets to your Dashboard by clicking “Add New Patient” at the top right corner of the Animal’s box.

You can also update any pet information by clicking on the pencil button next to your pet’s name.

Step Two: Schedule an Appointment

If you entered the patient portal through one of our clinic pages, you will see available dates for that service. For example, if you click “Schedule an Appointment” on the Humane Colorado Spay/Neuter Clinics page, you will see available spay/neuter clinic dates and locations for that month. Please note: completely full clinics will not appear on the calendar.

The “Change Clinic” button at the bottom of the page allows you to switch between clinics and other services offered by Humane Colorado Community Veterinary Services.

Note: if you have more than one pet you would like to schedule a service for, you will need to go through the following steps for each pet.

How to schedule an appointment

Confirm you are logged into the clinic or service you would like to schedule by looking at the menu on the left side under the Humane Colorado logo. Our primary services are Spay/Neuter Clinics, Pet Vaccinations, and our NEW Healthy Pets Plus clinics. We also offer urgent care services and dentistry through the Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur. Please call 303.722.5800 to schedule an urgent care appointment.

Please check the spay/neuter requirements before scheduling your appointment to ensure you are selecting the right service for your pet, especially age, weight, and breed-specific requirements.

Select “Book New Appointment” in the top right corner of the upcoming appointments section. You will be asked a few questions to determine the availability of appointments for this service that meets your pet’s needs. Then, you will be shown all available appointments.

GO TO DATE allows you to view specific dates. BOOK FIRST AVAILABLE will take you to the earliest available appointment.

If you do not see an available timeslot that means the currently scheduled clinics are completely booked. Please keep checking availability as cancellations happen and appointments may become available.

Once you’ve selected your date, you will be asked to enter your pet’s information and select Submit Appointment Request. The appointment will be shown as Unconfirmed until a Humane Colorado team member has confirmed or declined the appointment request. Please allow 24-48 hours for confirmation.

How to access medical records

You an access any medical records for your pet through your Dashboard under “Clinical” in the left-side menu.

The Clinical menu will take you to Clinical Summaries, where you can review and download files including visit summaries and signed consent forms. You can also find our standard of care page and your pet’s vaccination records including upcoming vaccine due dates.

How to make an online payment

To pay an invoice, please visit Financial in the menu then select Invoice. Any outstanding balances will be listed with the status “Due”.

To pay by credit card, select the credit card icon on the right side of the screen. To pay by Care Credit, please call 303.722.5800 to pay over the phone.

To make a partial payment, select My Payments under Financial and select the Make a Payment button on the top right. Enter the amount you wish to pay then continue to Make a Payment to enter your credit card information.

Thank you, again, for trusting Humane Colorado with the health and safety of your pets. We are grateful for your support in making a more humane Colorado for pets and the people who love them.
