Kids entering third, fourth and fifth grades can come to explore the amazing world of animals. There is a graduation on the final day of camp from 3 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. for campers and their families.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT MY CHILD TO LEARN?
Our goal is to teach children about compassion and respect for the world around them. By giving kids a rewarding experience working with animals and learning about animal welfare, we will provide them with lessons to help them make responsible decisions regarding the animals and people in their lives.
From pets to local wildlife, we’ll cover it all! Your child will learn how to be safe around animals and work hands-on with ambassador dogs to learn training techniques. Experienced and enthusiastic staff, guest speakers and some critters will give your child a week of learning through activities, games and crafts.
WHERE DOES THE PROGRAM TAKE PLACE?
Camp will be held indoors and outdoors at our Buddy Center in Castle Rock.
HOW MUCH DOES THE CAMP COST?
Camp costs $400 for the five day session. This includes all of the activities and a camp shirt that your child should plan to wear every day. Please have your child bring a snack, sack lunch, and water bottle.
Campers may enroll in only one session.
