Companions are calling

We’re partnering with our friends at DVCanvass, tele-fundraising, to share how we’re expanding our mission to work with you to end pet homelessness and animal suffering, and how you can take action for animals in need.

Be a Colorado Companion

This call is your chance to CO-create a compassionate Colorado for all companion animals.

As a Colorado Companion monthly donor, you provide consistent, life-changing support to the pets and equines that rely on us every day.

Every year, over 17,000 pets come into our shelters every year- many of them afraid, in pain, and in need. Monthly contributions ensure consistent resources are available to provide vital care and a second chance at life.

Your companionship helps us continue to serve pets in our communities throughout Colorado, too!

Colorado Companions Give Second Chances

Here’s how your donations add up to action every month:

$10 provides enrichment chew toys for small mammals, supporting healthy teeth.
$30 vaccinates a horse against contagious diseases such as Rhinopneumonitis, a highly contagious respiratory infection.
$50 deworms five (5) horses to protect them from internal parasites.
$50 can also help provide a day of care for an animal in our shelters.
$75 covers laboratory costs to help diagnose a cat who is having difficulty using the litter box.
$100 can help provide essential farrier care for a horse, improving their comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
$100 can also help provide five days of hay and daily care for a horse.
$150 can help provide a dental examination and float for a horse, allowing them to chew comfortably and maintain a healthy body condition.
$200 provides the subsidies needed to spay or neuter an owned dog at our Veterinary Hospital at CSU Spur.
$250 can support a young kitten’s journey by covering the costs of kitten formula, litter, bedding, medical supplies, and vaccinations.
$250 also buys a large bale of hay that feeds five horses for a week.
$300 can heal a dog from heartworm disease

And these are one-time gifts. Now, imagine the impact you make when you support Humane Colorado monthly!
