Peck is a handsome dark bay Thoroughbred with a sweet personality and a big heart. He absolutely loves having friends, both horse and human, and is the kind of horse who enjoys being around people. Peck has a friendly, willing attitude and has been making great progress in his training.

Peck has a decent groundwork foundation and is comfortable with catching, haltering, leading, halter pressure, free lunging, and line lunging at the walk, trot, and lope in both directions. He understands changes of direction and has worked on join-up and follow. He has also done very well with desensitization and handling exercises, remaining calm with ropes and the whip/stick-and-string while standing and moving. He was a little unsure of the flag at first, but his reaction was mild and he continued to work through it appropriately.

Peck has also been started under saddle and did well during his riding session. He is still developing his steering and tends to drop his shoulders, so he would benefit from an adopter who is comfortable continuing his education and helping him build strength, balance, and responsiveness under saddle. He also needs continued work on being responsive to the bit.

Peck is a sweet, personable horse with a great foundation and plenty of potential. With continued training and a patient, confident handler, he has the opportunity to continue growing into a wonderful partner.
