Bushel is a 18 year old gentle soul. She welcomes human interaction making her easy to catch, halter, lead, groom, pick up her feet and hug, hug, hug. She does well with other gentle soul horses. When she was with one of our other older horses Bushel treated him like a best friend – little brother. The two of them staying side by side being best buddies. But because of her calm, quiet, relaxed disposition, Bushel also dose well by herself. Bushel is loveable and gives love in return. She would make an awesome addition to any horse family.

Bushel stands quiet for saddling, bridling and mounting. She definitely has more whoa than go but still moves out smoothly and responds to gentle requests. She responds to gentle neck reining, and stops without issue. She does have what appears to be a light heart murmer, therefore any adoptor will need to work with their veterinaian to understand her riding limitations if any.
