Adopt Adonis Adonis is located at Leslie A. Malone Center Adonis Location: Leslie A. Malone Center Sex: Male Current Weight: 76.5 lbs Looks Like: Pit Bull-Mix Color: White-Tan Age: 4 Years Intake Date: 08/03/2026 ID: A1355643 About Adonis Adonis is a total angel! Beautiful, sweet, and incredibly gentle, he’s a fabulous family pup who’s loving, social, and playful with people and other animals. He grew up around kids and infants, respecting their space and patiently accepting their loving explorations of his dogginess. Adonis thrives on pets and attention, and cheese is his favorite treat! (Hot dogs next.) He’s a dream to walk, enjoys the dog park, and is house- and crate-trained. You can trust him home alone, too; he’s very polite, just keep the trash out of reach, as he may occasionally get the urge to snoop! He also has amazing training — he can trot next to a bicycle and is used to a modern e-collar, but he only needs a beep! (not even the vibration setting) to listen beautifully. Adonis is friendly with almost all strangers; he’s cautious with unfamiliar men. Kids age 10 and up are his best match and he can live happily with any other family pets (he lived peacefully with two cats). Come meet this beautiful boy! If you look closely enough, you may see his halo and wings — who doesn’t want an angel in the family? Adoption Fee: $200 Adopt Me Support My Care Share Facebook TikTok Instagram
We recommend starting your search for a new pet online. If you see a pet you want to meet, note their location and write down their ID number. We have three adoption facilities: Leslie A Malone Center in Denver, The Buddy Center in Castle Rock, and the San Luis Valley Animal Center in Alamosa. Adoptions are on a first come, first served basis. We regularly update our available cats, dogs, and small mammals online, but there’s always a possibility that the pet you saw on our site will find a home before you get a chance to visit.
