Adopt Killian

Killian is a cute, sweet gelding that is simultaneously smart and solution-oriented, so he’s a great horse for anyone looking for a problem-solver. Although he was initially pretty shy when he first came to Harmony, Killian came around quickly and was a fast favorite for staff and volunteers alike! Killian was sent off to CSU for the spring of 2026 as part of their ASPCA Right Horse Program and made great progress with the students up there!

Here’s what the students at CSU had to say about Killian:

Kilian is a two-year-old with a curious and gentle demeanor. He came into this program as a very anxious horse lacking in confidence and while he still sometimes has anxious moments, he has grown significantly over the semester. He went from us not being able to approach, to him approaching us in the pen. He can be groomed and lunged and has been desensitized to many things such as saddle pads, flags, and carrot sticks. Kilian is looking for a home with an experienced equestrian who is willing to train him under saddle. He is still very early on in his training and has a lot more to learn but with his athleticism, explorative attitude, and smarts I know he will go far.
