Calm, sweet, gentle, easy to walk, and housetrained — he’s an all around great pup! Spicy is looking for an experienced, affectionate pet parent who shares his love for outdoor fun. Whether it’s long walks, playing fetch and keep away with balls, or hiking, Spicy thrives on and needs a daily outlet for his energy. And, of course, just as important, lots of pets, back/fanny scratches, cuddling, toys and tasty treats! And the cherry on top? Spicy is very polite indoors and fine on his own at home. He’s used to sleeping on his dog bed in your room at night, and knows sit and shake. Spicy can go to a home with kids of all ages and we recommend another social dog in the family to be his fur-friend. Come visit this big sweetie bug to see if you’re a perfect pair! We recommend starting your search for a new pet online. If you see a pet you want to meet, note their location and write down their ID number. We have three adoption facilities: Leslie A Malone Center in Denver, The Buddy Center in Castle Rock, and the San Luis Valley Animal Center in Alamosa. Adoptions are on a first come, first served basis. We regularly update our available cats, dogs, and small mammals online, but there’s always a possibility that the pet you saw on our site will find a home before you get a chance to visit.
