Humane Colorado is committed to addressing each animal’s medical and behavioral needs so they can not only feel comfortable in our care, but live happily in their ideal environment – a loving home, just like yours! Our veterinary professionals support the health and well-being of every pet in our shelters, while out behavior experts and other teams provide enrichment, play, foster care, and positive reinforcement training for those in need.
What’s more, all pets adopted from Humane Colorado have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, treats for injury and illness, and supported individually by our team of caregivers – a testament to the thoughtful investment we make in each animal during their shelter stay (equaling $808/pet on average). These services – combined with unique post-adoption resources like ongoing behavioral support – not only save our adopters money but help all families start off on the right paw!
