The Pet Assist program helps those needing a temporary safe place for their pet to live due to various factors that leave them unable to care for their animals and when no other assistance is available. The animals are cared for through foster home placement. Pet assist is a short-term program, but each case is assessed based on the owner’s specific circumstances and the resources of the shelter.Please note: The fastest way to receive help is to apply below. Foster placement may take up to two weeks. Response time is currently 48-72 hours. Thank you in advance for your patience.
