Adopt Bacon Bacon is located at Leslie A. Malone Center Bacon Location: Leslie A. Malone Center Sex: Male Current Weight: 71 lbs Looks Like: Pit Bull-Mix Color: Brown-White Age: 6 Years Intake Date: 06/17/2025 ID: A1305247 About Bacon We’re big fans of this Bacon! He pulls hard to get outside and take care of business (housetrained in previous home) and then he’s ready to head to the play yard and show off his world class zoomies. He’s not especially interested in toys but sure likes treats, snuggles and affection. He’s a lovebug and thinks he’s a lap dog. This guy will thrive in a home with active owners who will provide positive reinforcement training – he’s smart and is happiest when he’s mentally and physically active and engaged! He’s a big guy and will do best in a home with older children. Bacon has been treated for allergies while at Humane Colorado; talk to your vet about the best ways to keep him comfortable and free of itchy dry skin. We recommend starting your search for a new pet online. If you see a pet you want to meet, note their location and write down their ID number. We have three adoption facilities: Leslie A Malone Center in Denver, The Buddy Center in Castle Rock, and the San Luis Valley Animal Center in Alamosa. Adoptions are on a first come, first served basis. We regularly update our available cats, dogs, and small mammals online, but there’s always a possibility that the pet you saw on our site will find a home before you get a chance to visit. Learn everything you need to know about adopting a pet from Humane Colorado on the pet adoptions process page.
